Tom and Mary Gargano of Clear Spring, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tabitha Dawn Gargano, to Kenneth "Ken" Alan Witmer, son of Jerry and Sharon Yeakle of Big Pool, and David and Susan Witmer of Clear Spring.

Ms. Gargano is a 1996 graduate of Clear Spring High School, a 2002 graduate of Hagerstown Business College with an Associates of Science in business ,anagement; attended University of Phoenix for Finance and Investments; and is a 2004 graduate of Realtor Institute. She is an independent contractor with Coldwell Banker Innovations, Hagerstown.

Mr. Witmer is a 1993 graduate of Clear Spring High School, and a 1997 graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Science in geography. He is employed with Capitol Drywall in Gaithersburg, Md., as a commercial project manager. He is a member and senior instructor with Red Dragon Martial Arts in Clear Spring.

An outdoor ceremony is planned for Feb. 27, 2010, in Canaan Valley, W.Va.
