Lea Bikle and John Vaverchak wish to announce their engagement.

Miss Bikle is the daughter of David M. Bikle and the late Jan Bikle. She is a 2000 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a 2004 graduate of Shepherd University. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Williamsport Elementary School.

Mr. Vaverchak is the son of John and Cindy Vaverchak. He is a 2001 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a 2007 graduate of Frostburg State University. He is employed with Tri-State Electric.

A September 2010 wedding is planned at Raystown Lake.
