Mr. and Mrs. James Marshall of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Marshall, to U.S. Air Force Maj. Frederick Bravo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Bravo of Austin, Texas.

Ms. Marshall is a 1990 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School and a 1994 graduate of Shepherd University. She is employed as head of the Art Department at the National Presbyterian School in Washington, D.C.

Maj. Bravo is a 1988 graduate of Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas, and a 1992 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He currently serves in the 457th Air Lift Squadron at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

A November wedding is planned.
