Galen and Cindy Murray of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Murray, to Joshua Miller, son of Thomas Miller of Manassas, Va., and Vickie Tegeler of Hagerstown.

Miss Murray is 1999 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and 2002 graduate of Shepherd University, where she recieved a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She is a planning & analysis specialist at State Farm Insurance in Frederick, Md.

Mr. Miller is a 2000 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and 2007 graduate of Shepherd University where he received a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He is a lead supervisor at Lockheed Martin in Northern Virginia.

A October 2010 wedding is planned.
