Megan Sue Ann Newkirk and Kyle Douglas Badstibner were married June 27, 2009, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Melissa Newkirk of Boonsboro. She is a 2003 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 2006 graduate of Frostburg State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. She is a teacher at Smithsburg Middle School.

The bridegroom is the son of Kim and Kurt Badstibner of North Versailles, Pa. He is a 2003 graduate of East Alleghany High School. He served five years in the United States Navy. He is employed at George Moehrle Masonry in Frederick, Md.

They live in Hagerstown.
