Laura Prather and Benjamin Flaherty Jr. were married Sept. 26, 2009, at Green Grove Gardens Event Center in Greencastle, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Richard and Karen Prather of Hagerstown. She is employed as a stylist at Sagittarius Salon and Spa in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom is the son of Benjamin and Janet Flaherty of Hagerstown. He is employed as a heavy equipment operator with the Maryland State Highway of Hagerstown.

They live in Waynesboro, Pa.
