Leah Jade Easterday and Robert Walter Pongratz were married July 31, 2009, at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Kim and Todd Garver of Boonsboro and the late Darin Easterday. She is a 2002 graduate of Boonsboro High School, a 2006 graduate of Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and a 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University with a Master of Arts in teaching. She is employed with Washington County Public Schools as a fourth-grade teacher.

The bridegroom is the son of Christine and Walter Pongratz of Hohenfels, Germany. He is a 2001 graduate of Boonsboro High School, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. He is employed as a mortgage broker at HomePromise in Greencastle, Pa.

They live in Hagerstown.
