Jennifer Lynn Cronise and Corey Michael Himrod were married May 15, 2010, in an evening ceremony on Whalehead Beach in Corolla, N.C.

Charles F. Andrews officiated the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, Douglas Cronise, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown of flowing chiffon. The bodice of the gown was fitted with an empire waist accented with hand-beaded lace and rouching detail. The back of gown was made of hand-beaded lace from waist to hem. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of pure white hydrangeas, pale pink rose buds and white and pale pink sweet peas.

A reception was held at Sea Fore Ever Beach House in Corolla.

The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Karen Cronise of Boonsboro. She is a 1997 graduate from Boonsboro High School, Boonsboro. She is a 2001 graduate rom Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Va., where she received a Bachelor of Science. She is employed as a DNA analyst for a government agency in Quantico, Va.

The bridegroom is the son of Bruce Himrod of Clarkston, Mich., and Susan Mallory Himrod of Dryden, Mich. He is a 1996 graduate from Birmingham Seaholm High School, Birmingham, Mich., and a 2000 graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., where he received a Bachelor of Arts. He is a 2005 graduate from Northeastern University School of Law, Boston, where he earned a Juris Doctorate. He is employed in the Legal Department of the League of Conservation Voters, Washington, D.C.

They remained in the Outer Banks, N.C., for their honeymoon.

They live in Penderbrook Square, Fairfax, Va.
